This 1960's tower block Wenlock Court and Armitage Court  in west Gorton, Manchester was in the process of being demolished. Used  as the backdrop for the Channel 4 hit TV  series 'Shameless' the site is being 'recycled' by Balfour Beatty replacing these high rises with family homes.
